DecorDupe is a browser extension that provides AI-generated quality verdicts on the product pages you visit. This policy explains what we access and collect.
When you open a verdict on a product page, the extension reads public product details from that page (title, price, brand, description, and visible reviews) and sends them to our analysis service to generate a verdict. We only do this for the page you are actively viewing, when you ask for a verdict.
We do not collect your name, email, account information, payment details, passwords, or browsing history. We do not track which sites you visit beyond the anonymous events below.
We collect aggregate, non-identifying usage data through a random identifier stored locally on your device — for example, that a verdict was shown on a store's domain (such as "aritzia.com"), the verdict's score, which sections you opened, and whether you rated a verdict helpful. This is never tied to your identity.
If you choose to type a comment in the feedback box, that text is sent to us so we can improve the product. Please do not include personal information in comments.
We do not sell your data. Product details are processed by our analysis provider solely to generate your verdict. Anonymous analytics are processed by PostHog. We do not share data with anyone else, and we do not use data for advertising, credit, or lending purposes.
You can stop all data collection at any time by removing the extension from your browser.
